
After two years of claiming the mantra “innovation for all”, Nissan is changing its tune.
The Japanese brand is tweaking its slogan to “innovation that excites”, a message that ties in better with the automaker’s global image. The updated version of their slogan first started being used when Nissan launched the U.K. version of its Juke small crossover. Now the new motto will accompany the newly redesigned Altima in the first of three new commercials that can be viewed below.
The first commercial portrays an intelligent, savvy animation of the Altima taking shape. In the second and third commercials, Nissan takes a comical approach to highlighting the Altima’s new tire pressure system and fuel mileage.
With shipments already in process, Nissan has assigned elevated sales quotas to keep the car in the number two sales spot. In addition to the new ad initiative, Nissan is taking other steps to increase production in an effort to keep the Altima ahead of the Honda Accord and to get closer to the Toyota Camry.
