On June 28th the Dilawri Group and Crown Nissan once again partnered with Habitat for Humanity and in addition to making a financial donation, a number of managers also donated their time and effort to help create homes for the less fortunate.
For several guys who don’t normally do a lot of physical work it turned out to be a great, rewarding experience. At the end of the day, the Dilawri team and Crown Nissan had prepped and readied one basement for flooring and started floor joists, stairs and floor panels on another.
Habitat for Humanity was quite appreciative of the Dilawri Group and Crown Nissan’s help and they enjoyed working with the team. This holds true for the managers as well as they are grateful their ‘superiors for a day’ were patient as they directed the team in their tasks. A few home owners were on site as well, volunteering to help build their own homes alongside the Dilawri Group.
The day was very hot and despite the heat and, not surprisingly, all the joking around that went on, the Dilawri team and Crown Nissan was able to contribute significantly to a great cause.
